Jeff,
Maybe I am reading this wrong, but in the rules for BB, there is a conflict. First quote:
"4. Armies may not include Regiments of Renown unless the army is a Dogs of War army, including the Truthsayer and Dark Emissary. Any army may take Dogs of War/Ogre Kingdoms. The Dogs of War GIANT is allowed with the armies listed in it's rules. Rhinox Riders are only allowed in OK armies."
So from this i take it a DoW army can take a Truthsayer or Dark Emissary.
However the paragraph later states:
You may use Kislev and DoW Armies. Albion, Lustria, and Storm of Chaos characters, units, and items are retired. No Albion, Storm of Chaos or Lustria armies are allowed. No units or items that only appear in SoC are allowed.
So from this i take it that they are both banned???
Which is it?
I am debating bringing DoW to this year's event and currently going through army builds.
Thanks! Jon

Actually we are going to allow DoW for any army, and those choices obviously part of the comp score.
We are going to add Albion to the group of banned ala Storm of Chaos, so the Truthsayer and Emisary are out.
I lost my access to changing the site when I wiped my computer. I need to get with Tom and update the site with the rules and scenarios. Our schedules have just been busy lately.

Now if i was evil, wouldn't i be interested in the Dark Emissary?
Fun fact, using a Truthsayer w/WPS in a DoW army makes your score sky rocket. I created what i thought was a competitive list that scored a 22.

The truthsayer was by far the best rules GW came up with.
Not only does his lore kick ass, but he is dressed like one of the village people.
And he has a 4+ ward save, 2 str 5 attacks AND 3 wounds.
And he isn't even a lord choice.
Woot!

Can I bring Felix and Gotrex with Brets? I believe they are the only DOW unit that they can take.

As long as their rules allow it, I will check when I get home.
But the inclusion of DoW units to your list will effect how the judges score your list and band you end up in. I suppose its possible for DoW to make a list weaker, but typically its to fill a gap and will increase the toughness of the grade if thats really what youre going for.
If the list is deemed OTT by 2 or more judges, you may be asked to change your list.
