Im seriously considering trying to do a potluck cookout saturday night. What better way to enjoy a midsummer evening and provide a way for those gamers that wish to socialize with those they dont see often than a cookout in July?
The logistics will be challenging. But there is a park right next to the venue we play in. Ive thought about asking different clubs to bring various items such as pop, chips, etc. There is a Grocery store about 1mi from the event and I believe a fridge in the Theater as well. So Jon Cash can bring his infamous goat cheese cassarole (is he playing beastmen?!) or he can go to Krogers and get some potato salad.
Anyway, I think we can brainstorm a bit on here about A) are you interested, B) do you think we can pull it off C) ideas to make it work.
Also need to check on whether alcohol is permitted in the park, because I know someone will ask!

Well in my neck of the woods we grill AND play Warhammer. So grilling after warhammer should work. My only question is how does your venue handle rain?

Hmm, better question is how many people will want to burn dice after day 1.

ok I think this just might work. I believe I have access to a 4' grill. Just need to work on sign ups for food and transportation of the grill.

Looks like I'll most likely be at the cookout.
